Frustrated with the direction the state is headed, Leland Gazo will fight in Montpelier to make Vermont afforable. A young, energetic shift in Montpelier is what the state needs.

The Issues
Affordability
Vermonters are being priced out of the state they love. Expenses are rising faster than families can keep up. We will block legislation that increases these costs and champion reforms that lower prices and restore affordability in Vermont.
Property Taxes
A 12% property tax increase is looming, and Vermonters are at their breaking point. We need to redesign Vermont’s education finance formula so families aren’t hit with higher property taxes year after year to fund an expanding bureaucracy.
Housing
A lack of affordable housing is pricing working families out of Vermont. Expanding housing supply and further reform to Act. 250 is critical to keeping our communities strong.
About Leland
Leland was born and raised in Mallet's Bay and spent time at Colchester Middle School and Colchester High School before graduating from Rice Memorial. He was proudly educated in state at both Saint Michael's College and the University of Vermont where he was a collegiate athlete. Leland runs his family's construction company and values the hard work of others in the trades. In his free time, you will find him skiing, fishing, hunting and serving the community.
